CPF needed to modernize its production cost calculation process — moving away from a manual workflow that required gathering data from multiple sources, human verification, and repeated calculation steps. Closing a cost period took weeks, and the risk of human error was high, especially as production data grew in volume and complexity across multiple departments.
The scale challenge: the system needed to handle large volumes of real production transactions and calculate costs accurately within a short window after each transaction closed.
Beyond current products, the system also had to be designed for extensibility — able to support new agricultural product types and business logic in the future without requiring a full rebuild.

What We Built
Muze developed a Cost Production Platform that replaced manual cost calculation with an Automated Cost Calculation Engine — processing costs directly from real production transactions rather than manual data gathering. The result is cost data that accurately reflects actual business operations.
Transaction-Based Cost Processing is at the core of the system — production data feeds directly into cost calculations, eliminating scattered manual files and steps. Teams can close cost periods faster with a consistent, system-wide standard.
On the architecture side, the system was built Scalable from day one — supporting new calculation rules, methods, and data formats for additional agricultural product types without rebuilding from scratch.
